  The sunday morning market

 

If you have the chance to pass by Port en Bessin ( first fishing harbour of Low Normandy ) a sunday morning , stop and stroll along the port to the discovery of the nicest market of the region. If you wish alive lobster, "étrilles" or sea perch, look at the fishmongers at the entry of the market , you will see a man with a navy blue cap and a yellow apron , he is the one a for a for a fish or shellfish lunch of the first freshness. A bit more far on the right, you will discover a charming white hair lady, specialist of home made jam and shallots in vinegar...a treat! By returning to the port, you will find on your right, an artisan that makes with love, the duck magrets, smoked or not, livers of duck and other delights that will make you appreciate the good Norman receipts. Just after the market while going to the sea, stop you to the bakery on your left,"croissants, chocolate rolls, breads and other greeds, will rejoice you .
