The Lebrec family has been established in this castle since three générations... Bernard Lebrec perpetuates the family tradition by making with a lot of know now bottled cider and Calvados in the purest local tradition. Even if you don't go of there to taste the cider, make a tour to Englesqueville and you will see this very nice castle from the 16/17 th. century with Saracens towers.
After holidays passed in Pyrenees and the visit of Angora goats breeding , the CLAY family, decided to implant in the Bessin its own breeding. Five years later, 200 Angora goats,provides 500 Mohair wool kilos, spun by an artisan near Toulouse in the south of France, and send back to Bernesq for transformation by the CLAY family. An instructive and interesting visit. Visits all days from 10 to 18 except Sunday.

Situated on the ancient Littry mining site, unique coal in Normandy, the Mine Museum, opened in 1902, is one of the oldest mining museums in France. Around the famous fire pump of the PERIER brothers, unique in France, the collections conjure up the everyday surroundings of the miners and the development of mining techniques from the 18th centyry to the middle of the 20th century, with, in particular, the 1/10 model of apit head, presented at the 1900 Paris World Exhibition.

Mill farm comprising a set of rural buildings from the 18 and 19 centuries, Marcy Mill is set in enchanting natural surroundings. Marcy is a rare example of those grinding mills, once numerous along our rivers, but which have now disapeared.
